Ruby is a 17 year old, using she/he/they pronouns, currently in her 3nd year of high school at Severna Park High. She was heavily inspired by her older sister to pursue art at a young age and has been practicing her skills both digitally, through Procreate, and traditionally since she was 10.

Ruby is an expert in all things Procreate. It has been her program of choice for over 6 years now. In recent years, she has branched out to acrylic painting and starting to venture into set design. Ruby has helped paint the sets for the Jones Elementary production, Frozen Jr. in 2022, as well as the Talent Machine productions, Legally Blonde in 2022 and Mean Girls in 2023. In September 2022, she joined the Severna Park High School Tech Crew and worked on the sets for both Footloose, Rock ‘N Roll Revival XXXIV and The Addams Family. She also designed and won the poster contest for Rock ‘N Revival XXXIV: RNR Goes To The Movies.

She has recently taken up poetry and creative writing as a hobby. Her poem drowning under a crystal sky was displayed in the Lee Damm Art Center in Marysville, Kansas. She also has a feature in the winter 2023 issue of the Annapolis UpsART magazine.
