promise you’ll love me

take the card

and slit it through my skin

draw a 3 of hearts with my blood

and lay my hair out as a queen

and say you’ll always cherish me

take my brush

and stab it through my heart

paint a smile upon my face

and promise you wont leave me to decay

and make art with my worries

open up the walls

and shove me through

safeguard me in your poison prison

and promise you will never leave

and lock me away 

drown me in the ocean

and fill my lungs with flowers

tie me to a tree

and tell me i am mother nature

and say you’ll be my god above
